The day starts at the Town Hall square in Pré-Saint-Didier: check in by showing your pass, meet the drivers and guides, and board the free electric shuttles.
Pré-Saint-Didier is the village where the Dora di Verney, flowing down from the Little St Bernard Pass, meets the Dora Baltea. For centuries it has been known for its thermal waters, which spring warm from the mountain, and for the Orrido, the deep gorge carved by the stream just above the village.
